TAVI, also called TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation/Replacement), is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat severe aortic stenosis by inserting a new valve through a catheter—usually via an artery in the groin—and positioning it inside the diseased aortic valve. It serves as an alternative to open-heart surgery, especially for older adults or patients at increased surgical risk, and typically allows for faster recovery and less physical stress on the body.
What is Mitral Regurgitation (MR) and what are the symptoms ?
Your heart has four main valves, which work like gates or doors and allow blood to flow through your heart in one direction. Mitral valve regurgitation is a condition in which the heart’s mitral valve does not close tightly.
Dr. Parikh M. Rushabh possesses extensive expertise in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), providing advanced, minimally invasive treatments for coronary artery disease.
Dr. Parikh M. Rushabh is highly experienced in Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion/Closure (LAAO/LAAC) procedures, offering a minimally invasive alternative for stroke prevention in patients with atrial fibrillation who cannot take long-term anticoagulants.

Structural Heart Disease Therapies are treatments—often minimally invasive—that target problems with the heart’s valves, walls, or chambers rather than its arteries.

Cardiac Device Therapies involve implantable medical devices that help manage abnormal heart rhythms or support the heart’s pumping function.

Peripheral Intervention refers to minimally invasive procedures that treat narrowed or blocked blood vessels outside the heart.
